Men's Cross Country Makes Significant Strides at Chatham

GIBSONIA, Pa. - The cross country team did not have to travel far for tonight's invitational at Chatham's Eden Hall off Bakerstown road in the North Hills. Tonight's event marks the halfway point in the season for the Redhawks. Several runners made improvements and finished with personal best times.

Freshman Andy Domasky led the men's squad in the individual rankings for the third straight invite, finishing 23rd overall with a time of 30:56.98 (avg mile: 6:13), his best time and individual finish of the season. The Freshman's race time at Chatham is a remarkable drop in time from his first two invites this year. At the Bethany Invitational (9/7), Domasky ran a 31:48.0 (avg mile: 6:25) and at the second race at Penn St. Behrend (9/13) he ran a 32:33.7 (avg mile: 6:32).
