PITTSBURGH, PA -- Zach Bauerle won the La Roche Invitational and Tyler Frederick placed second as the men's cross country team ran to the team win. The women's cross country team placed second.

Bauerle and Frederick dominated on their home course. Bauerle led from the get-go while Frederick lost his closest competitor with less a mile left. Neal Shah closed the race in a sprint to place seventh. The Redhawks displayed depth as Richard Nziza and Ammiel Francis placed 12-13. Chris Ebbert finished fifteenth and Dante McIntosh seventeenth. 

The women's cross country team had a solid outing, placing a season-best second. Sierra Anderson, Aaliyah Rawlings and Dipina KC packed it up and placed 5-7. Devan Smith, Kathryn Lamb, and Shaedaya Varlack kicked it in to place 9-11.

The Redhawks will travel to Franciscan next week for the AMCC Championship Race.
