La Roche Drops Regular Season Finale To Hilbert

HAMBURG,N.Y. - La Roche men's soccer came up short in its regular season finale, falling to Hilbert 6-1.

The Redhawks fell behind in the early stages at 10:43, by way of a penalty kick goal for the opposition.

However, just 59 seconds later, Ethan Illerbrun connected with Aiden Mukanos-Kramer for the lone red and black goal to even the score 1-1.

Hilbert would find the back of the net three more times before the half, including a second penalty kick goal to lead 4-1 at the intermission.

The Hawks would tack on two more second half goals to lead to the eventual final.

La Roche had 12 shots in the game, six of which were on goal, led by Mukanos-Kramer with a pair of each.

The Redhawks regular season concludes and still have a chance to make the AMCC Tournament. The red and black must hope for a draw between Mt. Aloysius and Penn State Altoona to claim the six seed.
