Redhawks Blank Celtics 4-0

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – La Roche men's soccer welcomed Carlow for AMCC play on Tuesday and came through with its first shutout victory of the season, taking down the Celtics, 4-0.

The lone goal of the first half came at the 18:13 mark, when Aiden Mukanos-Kramer scored what would be the game winner, making it 1-0.

Out of the break, the Redhawks dominated, scoring three goals to add plenty of insurance.

At 56:06, Jacob Packard found Austin Emery for his fourth of the season, then at 68:09, Mukanos-Kramer scored his second of the game off an assist by Jesus Angel Jimenez.

Emery closed the scoring at 86:42 with a penalty goal for his second of the game and fifth of the season.

La Roche outshot Carlow 15-5 in the game, including 11-4 in shots on goal.

Mukanos-Kramer led the red and black in both categories with four shots, all on goal.

Maddox Anderson earned the clean sheet, stopping all four shots that came his way.

The Redhawks return to action on Saturday, Oct. 19 as they welcome Alfred State for Senior Day. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
