PITTSBURGH, Pa. – La Roche men's soccer traveled to Mt. Aloysius on Wednesday night, but it was the Mounties coming out on top, 3-0.
It was a battle in the first half, as Mt. Aloysius netted the only goal in the opening 45 minutes at 20:55 to hold the 1-0 lead into the half.
Out of the break, the Mounties capitalized twice in a 2:55 span at 64:20 and 67:15 to add some insurance to the win.
Samuel Mastroberadino took two of the three shots in the game and had the lone shot on net.
The Redhawks return to action on Saturday, Oct. 12 as they head to Pitt-Bradford for a 2 p.m. kickoff.
