PITTSBURGH, Pa. – La Roche men's soccer hosted Penn State Harrisburg on Saturday afternoon, but it was the visiting Lions coming out on top, 5-1.
It was a battle in the first half, as both teams battled to a 1-1 tie through 45 minutes.
Harrisburg opened the scoring at 31:30, but La Roche responded at exactly 44 minutes as Mohammed Alhazmi found the back of the net to even the score at 1-1.
Out of the break, the Lions found a rhythm, putting four goals in the back of the net to seal the victory.
The Redhawks had six shots in the game, all on goal, all by six different players.
La Roche returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 9, beginning a two game road trip against Mt. Aloysius. Opening kick is slated for 7 p.m.
