Zach Wilfong is entering his first season as the Redhawks men's lacrosse head coach. Wilfong joins La Roche University after years of experience coaching men's lacrosse at the high school and collegiate levels. Most recently, Wilfong was the head coach for the University of Pittsburgh Men's Club Lacrosse program, a competitive member of the MCLA. At Pitt, he led his team to an appearance in the CLC conference playoffs and helped six of his players achieve All-Conference honors.

Prior to Pitt, Coach Wilfong was the Offensive Coordinator at Seton Hill University, an NCAA Division II athletics school. During his tenure at Seton Hill (2017-18), Wilfong helped lead the Griffins to a 29-6 record, the nation's number one ranked offense, two GMAC Conference Championships, and a national semi-final appearance. He did so while simultaneously earning his Master's in Business Adminsitration at the University. Wilfong also spent time coaching at Ohio Northern University, Carnegie Mellon and Central Catholic High School.

As a player, Wilfong was a standout attackman at Saint Vincent College. He was a four-year starter, three-year captain, and one of the top all-time scorers in school history. He finished his career with 201 total points, 120 goals and 81 assists. After his senior campaign, he was selected to play in the prestigious USILA DIII North-South Game.

Coach Wilfong is a native of Columbus, OH and currently resides in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. He and his fiancé Carly planned to be married in October, 2020.
