Redhawks Unable To Get Past Panthers

BRADFORD, Pa. – La Roche men's lacrosse played a strong first half on Wednesday night against Pitt-Bradford, but a dominant Panther second half sealed the victory, as the Redhawks fell, 19-8.

It was all La Roche in the early going, specifically Nolan Lynam, scoring three goals in the first 5:05 of play to jump the Redhawks out to a 3-0 lead.

Pitt-Bradford scored the final goal of the first quarter at 9:05, then La Roche jumped ahead, 5-1, behind a pair of goals by Robert Johnson in the first 40 seconds of the second quarter.

The Panthers would trim the deficit to 5-3 with a pair of goals, before Lynam's fourth of the night made it 6-3 with 10:14 to go in the half.

Unfortunately for the Redhawks, Bradford dominated the final 6:50 of the first half, scoring six goals to take a 9-6 edge into the break.

Out of the half, the third and fourth quarters belonged to the Panthers, outscoring La Roche, 6-0 in the third to take a 15-6 lead into the fourth, then in the fourth, it ended with a 4-2 Bradford edge, with goals for the Redhawks scored by Lynam and Cadamore.

Goalie Connor Radecki would finish the night with 15 saves in the cage.
La Roche's final regular season game is scheduled for Saturday, Apr. 26, when they travel to face Warren Wilson. Opening faceoff is set for 4 p.m.
