PITTSBURGH, Pa. – La Roche men's lacrosse took on Bryn Athyn on Friday afternoon, falling to the Lions, 16-1.
The first half was all Bryn Athyn, scoring six in the first and three in the third, taking a 9-0 lead into halftime.
The third quarter scoring also belonged to the Lions, adding a pair of goals, then would open the scoring in the fourth quarter to buils a 12-0 lead.
La Roche's lone goal of the game came at 12:53 of the fourth quarter, when goalie Nolan Lynam went coast-to-coast with the Redhawks a man down for his first goal of the season.
Bryn Athyn would close the game with the final four goals scored.
In goal, Lynam faced 39 shots, making 23 saves.
