
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – La Roche men's lacrosse opened the 2025 season on Monday, falling to the visiting Wilmington Quakers, 20-1.
It was all Wilmington in the first half, scoring nine goals in the first quarter, followed by four in the second quarter, taking a 13-0 lead into halftime.
The Quakers would be held to a single goal in the third quarter to move the score to 14-0 heading into the fourth and then scored the first three goals of the fourth.
The Redhawks lone tally came at 7:02 of the fourth quarter, as Ben Cadamore scored unassisted.
Wilmington would then score the final three goals of the game.
La Roche totaled 12 shots on the day with Robert Johnson leadin the way with five and Cadamore with three.
Goalie Connor Radecki started the game and in one quarter of action, faced 12 shots and made three saves.
Nolan Lynam followed between the pipes for the final three quarters and made 21 saves on 32 shots faced.
