McDanel Breaks School's Ground Ball Record in Loss at Muskingum

New Concord, OH -- Shawn McDanel broke the school's career ground ball record in the Redhawks' 17-6 loss at Muskingum. McDanel passed Jean-Guillaume Thouin who held the previous record with 242 ground balls.

La Roche held leads in both the first and second quarters, and stayed within a goal in the third quarter. Devin Wolford provided the Redhawks with both of their leads, burying passes from Brent Burkhouse on man-up attempts.

Wolford finished with 4 goals and an assist. Nick Sylvis scored a pair while Burkhouse dished out three assists. Chris Sylvis made 22 saves.
