Redhawks Men's Golf Competes In PA Classic

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – La Roche men's golf returned to action for the first time since the AMCC Championship in October 2023, competing in the PA Classic on Friday, Mar. 29 and Saturday, Mar. 30.

At the end of day one, the Redhawks sat T-14th as team, shooting a 335 collectively. La Roche would move a spot up the team leaderboard on Saturday, finishing 13th with a 326 to finish with an overall 661.

Josh Kapcin was the highest placing Redhawk, shooting a 155 to place T-23rd. In round one, Kapcin carded a 77, then concluded the tournament with a second round 78.

Shaun Pfeifer shot an 89 in round one and pulled through day to with the best score of the tournament for La Roche, carding a 76, placing him T-60th with a 165 two-round score.

Noah Talarico placed third after an 81 and 87 placed him T-69th with a 168.

Caden Farrell ended with an 88 and 85 for a 173 total score and T-81st finish, while Tyler Campbell rounded out the order, finishing 99th with a 200 (103 and 97) overall score.

The Redhawks are right back on the course Monday, Apr. 1 as they compete in the Geneva College Invitational.
