WAYNESBURG, Pa. – La Roche men's golf competed against Waynesburg University on Tuesday at the Greene County Country Club, finishing second in the head-to-head match.

As a team, the Redhawks shot a collective 349 for the tournament.

Josh Kapcin finished third in the tournament, turning in a card of 82.

Second on the team was Danny McCaffrey and his 87 to place sixth, with Shawn Pfeifer's 89 placing him eighth.

Just behind was Chase Bugman who carded a 91to place ninth, while Joe Starzynski placed 14th with a 104.

Playing as an individual, Connor Greer finished the afternoon with a 102, placing him 12th.

The next tournament for La Roche takes place next Monday, Oct. 2 when the Redhawks host the La Roche Invitational.
