McCANDLESS, Pa. - The La Roche golf team traveled to Monongahela, PA Tuesday afternoon to play a dual match against Carlow University at the Mon Valley Country Club. The Redhawks fell to the Celtics 395-361.

Sophomore Casey Hulbert (Kennedy Twp, PA/Montour) finished with the best overall score among all competitors, shooting an 80 on the 72 par 6,112-yard course. The mark is Hulbert's second best collegiate score to date.

La Roche's other three golfers are all first year members of the team. Senior Garrett Berner had the fifth best score overall with a 97 followed by Kyle Harriett (103) and Mike Zappala (115). Berner and Harriett are both four year members of the LRU men's soccer team.

The Redhawks play again this Saturday, April 10th at the Penn St. Altoona Invitational. The event will be held at the Sinking Valley Country Club in Altoona, PA beginning at 11:30 a.m.
