Brief description of job duties/responsibilities: Advertising sales where I help clients reach potential consumers through a range of broadcast and digital mediums.

Career path following La Roche: I was fortunate to find my way to iHeart (Clear Channel at the time) less than a year after my graduation from La Roche. I've been with the company for 17 years now.

Summarize your experience at La Roche.

La Roche was a great learning environment where I could interact with professors in an intimate setting, which gave me an education as opposed to simply earning a degree from a large university. Outside of academics, I had the fortune of playing golf for 4 years under Jim Tinkey. I made life-long friendships that I still hold to this day…

Favorite memory as a student-athlete?

ECAC Championships, Saratoga Springs, NY, Fall 2001. I qualified as an individual for the event and admittedly wasn't playing my best. Tink still saw to it that I represented the school in the tournament, so he drove me 8 hours each way. I didn't play well, shot 80 – 81, and felt like I let him down. He made me feel a lot better about myself by misreading the itinerary for the banquet…we showed up nearly two hours late while the program was wrapping up. We walked in, realized it was over, did a quick spin move and grabbed a makeshift dinner from a local convenience store, returning back to the hotel to watch the World Series. We laughed at ourselves all night. What could have been a forgettable weekend turned out to be one of my greatest memories.

Haas was inducted into the La Roche Athletics Hall of Fame in 2012.

What went into your decision to attend La Roche?

I wanted a school that was close to home where I could still work yet play golf. La Roche afforded me both of those and became so much more.

What advice would you give current La Roche student-athletes?
These are the good old days…slow down and enjoy them before you leave them
