GROVE CITY, Pa - The La Roche Men's Golf team placed 14th out of 16 competitors at the Fall Invitational held at the Grove City Country club Thursday afternoon. The host team, Grove City, won the event for the second time in three years shooting 304 as a unit. The Redhawks shot a combined team score of 347. In 2017, the last time La Roche participated in the event, the team shot a 316 and placed 2nd out of 10 participants. 

Senior Pat McCall shot a team best 80 strokes on the day, tying for 30th on the individual leaderboard out of 86 competitors. It's also the best McCall's shot at the course in his career at La Roche (2017: 82, 2016: 81) and so far this season. 

Other Scores:

• Freshman Casey Hulbert shot an 85, tying for 56th
• Senior David Wilson shot an 88, tying for 67th
• Senior Kordell Collins and Freshman Zech Sines both shot a 94, tying for 77th

Next Up: La Roche will host it's annual golf outing at Wildwood Golf Club in Hampton township on Tuesday, September 17th. Tee time will be 1:30 p.m.
