NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. - La Roche men's basketball senior guard, Joe Starzynski, earned AMCC Player of the Week honors, announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.

Starzynski had a standout week for the Redhawks despite two tough losses in AMCC play.

Against Mt. Aloysius on Wednesday, Starzynski shot 9-for-15 from the floor to net 27 points, alongside eight rebounds, four assists and four blocks.

He followed that performance on Saturday against Alfred State with 16 points on 5-for-8 shooting, seven rebounds, three assists and four more blocks.

For the week, Starzynski shot 60.9% from the field, averaged 21.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 4.0 blocks per game.
