CRESSON, Pa. - La Roche men's basketball, currently 3-0 in AMCC action, head out to Mt. Aloysius to take on the Mounties Wednesday, December 18th at the Athletic Convocation and Wellness Center. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.

La Roche News and Notes (3-5, AMCC: 3-0)
- The Redhawks shot a season best 58% from the floor in a 90-79 win over Medaille on December 14th
- Kennedy Smith finished with a game-high 27 points, shooting 11-13 from the field and a perfect 4-4 from three point range; Smith currently ranks first in the AMCC at 20.8 points per game and 2nd in 3-PT% at 60.7%; teammate Torry Hawkins ranks first in the category shooting 63.6% from beyond the arc this season
- Tyler Frederick recorded his third double-double of the season in the contest, posting 12 points and 15 rebounds; In the AMCC, Frederick is currently ranked 1st in rebounds per game (11.3) and 3rd in points per game (17.7)
- Darius Lawrence held off the surging Mavericks, scoring 10 of LRU's last 19 points; Lawrence has put up double-digit figures in every game he's played in thus far and currently ranks 12th in the conference at 15.3 points per game
- Austin Hannes scored 22 points on 7-12 FG, one point shy of his career high. Hannes also added a team-high 5 assists
- Smith, Frederick, Hannes and Lawrence accounted for 79 of La Roche's 90 points in the victory over Medaille
- La Roche has shot 50% or better from the floor in each of their three wins this season

- In their last game, Mount Aloysius was defeated at Penn St. Behrend 79-68 on December 14th
- Four different Mounties finished with 10+ points led by Sophomore Carlos Palacio who scored a season-high 21 points on 9-12 FG in the contest
- Mount Aloysius managed to only turn the ball over a season-low six times against the Lions
- The Lions dominated on the glass, out rebounding the visitors 39-23 overall while limiting the Mounties to only four offensive rebounds
- This season, the Mouties are currently last in the conference in rebounds per game at 30.9
- Senior Nate Christian is averaging a team-best 18.3 points per game (2nd in AMCC)
- The Mounties have only scored 70+ points in one game so far this season, averaging an AMCC worst 62.7 points per game
- On the flip side, Mt. Aloysius defense has been stellar, holding their opponents to an AMCC best 65.4 points per game and an average 41.4% field goal percentage (2nd best in AMCC)
