NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. - La Roche baseball starting pitcher Casey Jones earned AMCC Pitcher of the Week honors for his fantastic week on the mound.

Jones took the hill on Monday, Mar. 4 against Washington & Jefferson, and in the no decision, pitched seven strong innings, allowing just two runs (one earned), five hits, walked two and fanned six.

He followed that performace on Sunday, Mar. 10 with another dazzling performance in the Redhawks first game at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, S.C. against Fredonia, tossing six innings, allowing just one run, two hits, two walks and struck out 12 in the process, again picking up the no decision.

For the week, Jones threw 13 innings, allowed three total runs, two of which were earned, seven total hits, four walks and 18 strikeouts.
