PITTSBURGH, PA - La Roche Baseball stormed into a victory this afternoon, recording 9 runs in the first inning. Kyle Weitzel recorded his first grand slam of the season, driving in 4 runs. 

Garrett LeMaster spent all 7 innings on the mound. The right-hander threw 92 pitches, 51 of them strikes. He struck out 5 batters; allowed 5 hits, and 2 runs. 

Weitzel earned 5 RBIs, four coming from his grand slam in the first inning. Nathan Stutz went 4-for-5 at the plate, recording 3 RBIs for himself. 

The team committed zero errors in the field for a clean time on defense. 

Between Stutz, Samuel DiCicco, Damon Foster, and Weitzel the team recorded 12 hits on the day. 

La Roche will be back on the field tomorrow for their final game of the week against Thiel.
