PITTSBURGH, PA - La Roche had their first home game of the season this afternoon against the Mount Union Raiders. Unfortunately for the Redhawks, today's at-bats were not in their favor.
La Roche went through 6 pitchers in an effort to defeat the Raiders. Chris Tarquinio hung on the longest for 2 innings. He earned one strikeout. Dylan Chan finished with the best record of the six on the mound. Chan ended his inning on the mound with 2 strikeouts and no runs or hits allowed.
The Redhawks tallied three runs in the seventh inning. The offensive onslaught came from a walk by Zach Keib, a single by Kyle Weitzel, and a sac fly by Nathan Stutz.
Weitzel led La Roche University with two hits in four at bat.
