Professori, Spina, and Thomas Earn Spots on All-Region Team

La Roche University baseball's Joe Professori, Jonathan Spina, and Tre Thomas earned spots on the All-Region Team for the second straight year. All three made ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Second Team. Professori was on D3Baseball's Mideast Region First Team, Spina on Second Team, and Thomas on Third Team.

AMCC Player of the Year Joe Professori is the best second baseman in the Mideast Region, earning a spot on the All-Region First Team. Professori led the AMCC in hits, home runs, and total bases, ranked second in runs, batting average, and slugging percentage, third in RBIs, fourth in at bats, and seventh in on base percentage.

Professori is one of the most accomplished players in Redhawk history. Earlier this season, Professori broke the school's all-time hits record and over the weekend he became the school's all-time leader in RBIs. He also has the sixth longest on-base streak in NCAA Division III history.

Jonathan Spina moves up to the All-Region Second Team after earning a spot on the Third Team in 2018. Spina led the AMCC in at bats and hits and ranked in the top 10 in runs, doubles, triples, total bases, sacrifice hits, stolen bases, and batting average. He is a three-time AMCC All-Conference performer including the past two on the All-Conference First Team.

Tre Thomas is an All-Region performer for the second consecutive season. Thomas led the AMCC in ERA, ranked second in shutouts, third in strikeouts, fifth in starts, and sixth in innings pitched. In 2018, Thomas was the AMCC Pitcher of the Year, an All-American, and All-Region First Teamer.
