Dylan Urban walked it off in dramatic fashion, belting a 7th inning home run to lift the Redhawks past Baldwin Wallace 10-9.

Both Baldwin Wallace and La Roche got to work offensively in the early innings of Game 1. The Yellow Jackets jumped ahead 2-0 through the top of the first but La Roche answered with five runs in the bottom of the inning.

Jay Novak drew a leadoff walk and Joe Professori singled to put runners on the corners. Austin Hoffman, Shane Roebuck, and Brandon Nania followed with run-scoring doubles and the Redhawks took a 5-2 lead.

The Yellow Jackets took a 6-5 lead in the top of the second but Roebuck followed with a sacrifice fly to tie it.

Jake Seymour entered the game in relief and held Baldwin Wallace to just three runs over the next 5.2 innings.

Professori and Hoffman drove in runs in the sixth, but the Redhawks entered the bottom of the seventh needing a run to win it. Urban came through, blasting a ball deep over the left field wall to lift La Roche to victory.

Hoffman went 3 for 3 with 3 RBI and a run. Roebuck drove in two while Novak and Professori scored twice.

Tinney used a double play to get out of a jam in the top of the first. Professori gave the Redhawks a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first with a sacrifice fly. Tinney allowed just one base runner over the final six innings and Roebuck added a two-out RBI single in the seventh to give the Redhawks breathing room.
