Redhawks Six Game Win-Streak Ends At Allegheny

La Roche fell for the first time in the past six games, dropping a non-conference game at Allegheny 8-2.

Allegheny took control with 7 runs in the bottom of the second. They added to their big lead with another run in the fifth inning.

The Redhawks got a run back in the ninth when All-Conference senior Joe Professori lined a single to right field to bring in Austin Hoffman. La Roche would get no closer as they fell 8-2.

Junior Chris Hanlon stepped into relieve in the second inning, allowing just 1 run over 5.1 innings. Garren Telesz threw a scoreless eighth inning.

Austin Hoffman doubled and scored twice while Tristin Tinney doubled and drove in a runner. Joe Professori had a RBI and Jonathan Spina a stolen base.
