La Roche College freshman outfielder, Dylan Urban, has been voted the D3 Hero National Newcomer of the Year. Head Baseball Coach Chase Rowe is the D3 Hero National Coach of the Year Runner-Up.

Urban had a stellar debut season. He led the AMCC and led all freshman nationally with 30 stolen bases. He ranked second in the AMCC in at bats, third in plate appearances, fourth in runs, sixth in triples, and eighth in hits. Urban was the AMCC Player of the Week, on the AMCC All-Tournament Team, and helped the Redhawks win the AMCC Championship with a grand slam in the AMCC Championship Game. He also scored the winning run in the Redhawks' NCAA Mideast Regional victory over Itacha. 

Coach Rowe's status among the country's top coaches continues to rise. He's one of the nation's winningest coaches this decade and his teams have averaged over 35 wins the past four seasons. He has led the Redhawks to five straight AMCC Championships and NCAA Regional appearances and 6 in the past 7 years. He also guided La Roche to the 2016 College World Series and a final four appearance. Rowe has won been named the AMCC Coach of the Year seven times, the Mideast Region Coach of the Year twice, and now adds National Coach of the Year Runner-Up to his list of accolades.
