WESTMORELAND CO., Pa. – La Roche men's and women's cross country competed in the Wolfpack Invitational hosted by Westmoreland County Community College this weekend, with the women running as individuals and the men placing fourth.

In the 5K, Samantha Bainbridge led the way with a 13th place finish in the 29 runner field, behind a time of 25:07.2.
 
Therese Hoffman placed 26th, breaking the tape at 44:06.2, with Lama Darawshe and Laura Titi finishing 28th and 29th with times of 49:48.7 and 50:27.2

In the men's 5K race, it was a fourth-place finish in the four team meet, with the team totaling 83 points.

Atai Atiuvarov and his 16th place finish leading the Redhawks with a time of 21:53.4.

Matthew Mars would follow behind as the second runner across at 27:25.3 to place 29th, while Jay Young Chung and his 28:26.0 placed 33rd.

Rounding out the order for La Roche was Nathan Stockton in 35th at 30:03.5 and Patrick Chewning in 36th with a final time of 33:08.6.

The Redhawks men and women return to the course on Saturday, Sep. 16 when they take part in the Allegheny Invitational.
