McCANDLESS, Pa. - Junior Aaliyah Rawlings (Pittsburgh, PA/University Prep) and freshman Kylene Berna (Georgetown, MD/Sussex Central) represented LRU Saturday afternoon in the AMCC Women's Cross Country Invitational. The 5K race took place on La Roche's campus and the neighboring Sisters of Divine Providence property.

Penn St. Behrend took home first place in the event. Senior Savanna Carr from Behrend finished with the best individual time (24:18.88).

Rawlings came in 17th with a time of 40:48.82 and Berna came in right behind her with a time of 47:23.35.

The weather for today's race was rainy and made for a muddy course, but the Redhawks powered on and finished strong.
