NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. - La Roche University senior libero Mackenzie Kerkan earned AMCC Defensive Player of the Week honors, announced by the conference on Monday.

Kerkan had another incredible week, much like she has all season, accumulating 50 digs, nine assists, one kill and a service ace over the Redhawks two games.

In last Tuesday's 3-2 win over Carlow, Kerkan ended the night with 26 digs, averaging 5.2 per set, to go alongside a pair of assists, a service ace and a kill.

In Saturday's defeat at the hands of Alfred State, Kerkan put up 24 digs to average eight per set, while taking on seven assists, coming just short of a double-double.
