Alfred, NY - Women's Volleyball took a trip this Saturday to participate in a tri-match at Alfred State College. There they faced conference opponent Alfred State, and an old foe, the Medaille Mavericks. 

Alfred vs. La Roche

The Redhawks put up a fight, but in the end, they couldn't add another win to their conference record. That doesn't mean that there weren't some feats accomplished in the first match of the day.

La Roche vs Medaille 

• La Roche won in three sets

  • Set One (26-24)

  • Set Two (25-19)

  • Set Three (25-19)

• Nulph led in kills once more with 11

  • Hughes followed shortly behind once more with 8

    • Hughes also recorded 5 solo blocks

• Cassidy Rossi led in assists with 20, moving into the 5th most assists in La Roche history

• Sydney Herzer led in digs with 21 in the libero position

  • Kerkan also hit double digits in digs with 13

After today's conference matchups there is now a 5-way tie in the AMCC for second place with everyone's conference record reading: 3-2. This makes the final regular season matchup against Penn State-Altoona even more critical than before.
