Hilbert Win Moves Volleyball to 2nd Place in AMCC Standings

PITTSBURGH, PA - Today La Roche Women's Volleyball hosted a tri-match, and celebrate their graduating seniors. They honored their graduating teammates the best way they could; by sweeping both matchups of the day 3-0. 

La Roche kicked off the day with a conference matchup against the Hilbert Hawks

Hilbert

  • Redhawks swept in 3 sets

    • Set One (25-23)

    • Set Two (25-23)

    • Set Three (25-21)

  • Bethany Nulph set the tone for the day with 19 kills 

  • Cassidy Rossi led in assists and in digs

    • 18 assists 

    • 12 digs

  • Kenzie Kerkan totaled 11 digs

  • Kalli Grine totaled 2 solo blocks, and 2 block assists

This conference win allowed the Redhawks to move into second place in the AMCC conference with a record of 2-1, with their only loss so far to Penn State-Behrend.

King's College (PA)

  • La Roche swept in 3 sets

    • Set One (25-21)

    • Set Two (25-17)

    • Set Three (25-14)

  • Kalli Grine led with 11 kills

    • Gine also recorded 2 block assists

  • Madison Johnson led the way with 16 assists

    • Rossi followed closely behind with 13

  • Kenzie Kerkan & Nulph tied for digs

    • 14 digs were recorded for each

  • Quinn Huges was able to find her stride 

    • 5 block assists & 3 solo blocks

    • 1 kill

The Redhawks will be back for a conference matchup against Mount Aloysius for their final regular season home game. First serve is at 7 PM.
