Pittsburgh, Pa.- The La Roche women's volleyball team was off to a great start but was unfortunately defeated by Penn State Behrend Saturday afternoon. The final score of the game was 3-1(25-19, 20-25, 22-25, 17-25). Behrend had 46 kills to La Roche's 34, a killing percentage of .228 to .097, 36 assists to 32, 66 digs to 58, and 6 blocks to one.

Behrend's Junior MH Sarah Cole made the most kills in the game with 13 kills while Senior MH Kristin Reiland made 11 kills. Senior Setter Dani Kosslow had a match high of 31 assists. Graduate Libero Maddie Clapper had a match high of 19 digs.

La Roche's Junior Outside Hitter Mackenzie Jeric (Salem, OH / Salem) made 12 kills while Senior Outside Hitter Bethany Nulph (Saxonburg, PA / Knoch) made 9 kills. Junior setter Cassidy Rossi (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler) made 16 assists. Senior Liberio Sydney Herzer (Huber Heights, OH / Wayne) got 17 digs.
