Volleyball Bested by Bradford in Conference Home Opener

Pittsburgh, Pa.- The La Roche women's volleyball team suffered a loss to the University of Pitt Bradford Saturday afternoon. The final score of the game was 3-0 (22-25, 10-25, 17-25). LRUVB now owns an overall record of 4-12 (1-1 in AMCC play) while Pitt Bradford improves to 14-3 (2-0).

UPB had 30 kills to La Roche's 19, a killing percentage of .215 to -.011, 29 assists to 17, 46 digs to 41, and 8 blocks to 2.

Pitt Bradfords senior outside hitter Emily Cleveland made 14 kills while junior setter Tabitha Walker got a match high of 26 assists. Freshman outside hitter Olivia Reese had a match high of 15 digs and freshman liberio Kayla Maslowski had 11 digs.

La Roche's senior outside hitter Bethany Nulph (Saxonburg, PA / Knoch) made 6 kills and 11 digs while junior outside hitter Mackenzie Jeric (Salem, OH / Salem) had 5 kills. Junior setter Cassidy Rossi (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler) made 7 assists and sophomore setter Krystal Adna (Huber Heights, OH / Wayne) had 6 assists. Senior Liberio Sydney Herzer (Huber Heights, OH / Wayne) got 8 digs.

UP NEXT: LRU will play again on Saturday, October 9th at 1:00 p.m. in a conference matchup at Medaille College.
