HAMBURG, N.Y. - La Roche University swept Hilbert College on the road three sets to none (25-10, 25-19, 25-15) Saturday afternoon in their conference opener. LRU is now 1-0 in AMCC play and 3-10 overall.
Both senior outside hitter Bethany Nulph (Saxonburg, PA / Knoch) and junior outside hitter Mackenzie Jeric (Salem, OH / Salem) delivered more than half of the La Roche's kills with 9 kills each making both of their kill percentages above 40%, Nulph still manages to secure her #4 spot in AMCC Kills of 105, La Roche dominated with 33 kills to Hilbert's 10. Nulph also played defensively with a team high of 7 digs. Additionally, junior setter Cassidy Rossi (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler) showed she was a team player tonight with a team high of 10 assists of the RedHawks total of 26.
NEXT UP: La Roche University takes on Chatham University on the RedHawks home court, Baierl Athletic Complex's on September 30th at 7 PM in a non-conference game.
