La Roche Drops Heartbreaker at Home vs. Medaille

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Entering today's match, the women's volleyball team were 6-2 at home where they averaged 10.9 kill/set, 9.3 assists/set & 16.7 digs/set. In today's hard-fought 3-1 loss against Medaille, the Redhawks averaged 6.8 kills/set, 6.8 assists/set, & 14.5 digs/set. La Roche is now 4-4 in conference play this season and 6th in the AMCC standings. They are currently a half-game up on the Pitt Greensburg Bobcats who face Pitt Bradford today. La Roche defeated Pitt Greensburg back on October 8th, 3-1. The last two games against Franciscan (10/30) and D'Youville (11/2) are critical for the Lady Redhawks. If they are able to win them both, they will secure their spot in the conference postseason. A loss in either game could push them out of the playoff picture.
