AMCC Honors Nath, Scott and Torchia With Spots on All-Conference Team

Laura Nath, Hannah Scott and Toni Torchia have been named to the AMCC Women's Volleyball All-Conference Team. Nath and Scott were rewarded with First Team honors and Torchia with Third Team honors.

Nath is on the All-Conference First Team for the second straight season and this is her third time receiving all-conference consideration. Nath led the AMCC in kills and kills per set for the second consecutive season and was named the AMCC Player of the Week. She was the AMCC Preseason Player of the Year, a 2017 AMCC Player to Watch and the D3 Volleyball Hero of the Week. As a sophomore, she ranked ninth in the nation in kills and her 438 kills were the ninth most in AMCC history. She is also one of a handful Redhawks to reach 1000 career kills.

Scott joins Nath as a 2-time AMCC All-Conference First Teamer. Scott led the AMCC in digs and digs per set for the second consecutive year. She also ranked sixth in the nation in digs placing her in the top 10 for the second straight year. Her 684 digs this season is the fifth most in conference history. Scott was the 2016 AMCC Newcomer of the Year and a 2017 Preseaon Player to Watch. Scott registered her 1000th career dig earlier this season.

Torchia earns a spot on the AMCC All-Conference Third Team. She was on the All-Conference Second Team as a sophomore. Torchia had an excellent senior campaign ranking third in the AMCC in digs and eighth in kills. Torchia concluded her career in the AMCC Championship Match with over 700 kills and 1100 digs.
