ERIE, Pa. - The La Roche University tennis team took on Pitt Greensburg Saturday afternoon in the opening round of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference playoffs. Number one seeded Pitt Greensburg took down number four seed La Roche, 5-1. The second, fifth and sixth singles matches all went unfinished. The Bobcats are 6-0 against the AMCC this season.

The Redhawks concluded their season with a 2-4 overall record. This season was the Redhawks third time making the AMCC postseason in the last five years.

LRU's first doubles team of Alexandra Jaksec (Butler, PA/Knoch) and Isabella Lane (Lower Burrell, PA/Lower Burrell) notched the Redhawks sole victory in today's match. Jaksec and Lane won 8-5. The duo went 3-1 together this season at first doubles.
