WEXFORD, PA -- The La Roche College women's tennis team clinched an AMCC playoff berth after beating Pitt-Bradford 6-3 on Friday evening. The Redhawks also remain alive to host an AMCC Tournament Quarterfinal match.

La Roche led 2-1 after doubles play. Kirsten King and Miranda Lasher combined for an 8-6 victory at #1 doubles while Rochelle Selzer and Esther Wood won 8-4 at #2 doubles.

The Redhawks took control in singles play, earning victories at #1, #2, #3, and #6 singles. Selzer got things started with a 6-3, 6-0 win at #1 while King went 6-0, 6-2 at #2. Lasher continued her domination at #3 singles with a 6-4, 6-1 win. Allie Mroczkowski went 7-5, 6-3 at #6 singles.
