WEXFORD, PA – The La Roche College women's tennis team picked up an impressive conference win, sweeping Penn State Behrend 9-0 on Friday evening. The Redhawks improve to 1-1 overall and in the AMCC.

All three doubles pairings picked up victories. Miranda Lasher and Kirsten King got things going, teaming up at #1 doubles and earning an 8-4 win.

Rochelle Selzer and Alexandra Mroczkowski made it a 2-0 match winning 8-3 at #2 doubles. Jazmyn Davis and Rebecca Franks cruised to an 8-1 win at #3 doubles.

La Roche continued to roll into singles play. Selzer swept the second set, going 6-3, 6-0 at #1 singles. King was nearly perfect with a 6-0, 6-1 performance at #2 singles.

Lasher was perfect at #3 doubles, going 6-0, 6-0. Franks went 6-2, 6-2 at #4 singles.

Davis had a strong match but fell at #5 doubles 6-3, 6-4. Mroczkowski picked up her first collegiate victory, going 6-1, 6-1 at #6 singles.
