Tennis Extends Win Streak to Three With 7-2 Win at D'Youville

BUFFALO, NY -- The La Roche women's tennis team improved to 4-2 and 3-1 in the AMCC after defeating D'Youville 7-2 on Sunday morning. The victory extends the Redhawks' win-streak to three games.

La Roche won at every position outside of #1 doubles and #1 singles. #3 doubles (Chardai Guthrie/Monique Cooper), #5 singles (Miranda Lashner) and #6 singles (Emily Huwe) all swept their competition while #2 doubles (Lashner/Kylie Banister) came just one point away at 8-1. Banister improved to 6-0 on the season with a 6-4, 6-3 win at #3 singles. #2 singles Devin Stromberg and #4 singles Chardai Guthrie also registered victories.

The Redhawks will host defending AMCC Conference Champion Penn State Behrend on Wednesday.
