ALTOONA, Pa. - La Roche Redhawks fall in a tough battle to Penn State Altoona Tuesday night in Altoona. Penn State took no time trying to score as they broke out and brought in two quick goals during the first period, but LRU managed to keep them quiet as they settled in. The second period brought a switch of goalies for the Redhawks as Bella Costanzo came in to goal and it was a dogfight against both teams until the last minutes as Penn State wiggled in another goal to cement the game as theirs with a 3-0 score to end it. LRU leaves with a 4-7-1 record while Penn State Altoona improves to 6-6.

• Penn States Katelyn Russell shoots out the gate with a goal in the first period with an assist from KK Wolfe.

• Altoona doesn't stop there as Mallorie Smith goes for the shot and has an assist by Hannah Brubaker to make the score 2-0 in the first.

• We move to the second period where Redhawks goalie Bella Costanzo comes in holding down Penn State with 8 Saves.

• It's not enough though as Altoona's Sadie McConnell slaps a last minute goal in with help from teammate Anaya Phillips to wrap up the game with a 3-0 score.
