Members of the La Roche College men's and women's soccer teams joined Cuddles for Kids to host the First Annual "Kicking it With the Kids" at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. They held a mini soccer camp and a craft shop with patients and also distributed gifts including mini soccer balls and a keepsake craft.

La Roche College men's soccer freshman Conner Hagins started Cuddles for Kids ten years ago. Cuddles for Kids has donated over 100,000 toys, coloring books and stuffed animals to children's agencies throughout the state of Pennsylvania and throughout the world. Additionally, Cuddles for Kids has issued over $13,000 in grants to agencies and projects benefitting children. For his efforts, Conner was named the 2015 Prudential Spirit of Community High School Volunteer for Pennsylvania. He is also a multi recipient of the President of the United States Volunteer Service Award.
