Three Redhawks and Coach Lisa Evans Earn AMCC Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Honors

NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. – Three La Roche women's lacrosse athletes and head coach Lisa Evans were named as AMCC Women's Lacrosse All-Conference honorees, announced by the conference on Tuesday.

VICTORIA BIAGETTI

Biagetti had never played lacrosse prior to joining La Roche in its fourth game of the season, but it didn't stop the Redhawk women's soccer player from being lights out on the defensive end of the lacrosse field. Biagetti concluded the season with 21 ground balls, a top 15 mark in the AMCC, and caused 20 turnovers, not only tying her for the team lead, but tying her for sixth in all of the AMCC, doing so in just seven games played. Biagetti also added a pair of draw controls on the season, and was a perfect 2-for-2 shooting as both of her shots went in for a goal.

JADE FUCCARO

Fuccaro put together one of the best single season in La Roche's young program history in 2024. Fuccaro ended the season with a program single season record 29 goals, placing her sixth in the AMCC, while also picking up four assists and having a shot on goal percentage of 78.7%. Beyond the offensive numbers, Fuccaro scooped up 16 ground balls, caused six turnovers and also reeled in six draw controls.

KIKI NEMCEK

Nemcek was an all-around threat for the Redhawks in 2024, as the freshman was noticeable all over the field. On the offensive end, Nemcek scored 16 goals and added a pair of assists, while also shooting 81% on net. Defensively, Nemcek scooped up 38 ground balls, placing her sixth in the AMCC, earned 34 draw controls which was a team high and fifth most in the AMCC. Furthermore, Nemcek caused 28 turnovers, not only a team high, but the second most in all of the AMCC and she ranked top 65 in the country in caused turnovers per game.

LISA EVANS

In just the program's third full season of play and fourth year of existence (year one cancelled due to COVID), Evans has created a culture around the program that has seen growth every season thus far and has shined a bright light on the future of LRU women's lacrosse. In 2024, Evans led the Redhawks to a four-win season, as the program had only won one game each in both 2022 and 2023. This season, her squad earned three victories in mercy rule fashion and came up just short of an AMCC Championship Game appearance. Evans helped produce three AMCC All-Conference selections listed above, second most in the conference behind only AMCC Champion Wells.
