PITTSBURGH, PA - Women's lacrosse hosted their second home game of the season this afternoon against the Bethany Bison. 

It was a cold and rainy afternoon but the Redhawks didn't let that get them down. Tea Smith and Cece Liguori each scored two goals this afternoon. Smith was once assisted by Kinsey Sperling, and Liguori was assisted by Kate McCallister. 

Also adding goals this afternoon was Jade Fuccaro, and McCallister who was also assisted by Sperling. 

Working hard on defense this afternoon was goalkeeper Jules Hornikel. Hornikel earned 10 caused turnovers, and 12 saves. Hornikel also collected 4 ground balls during her 60 minutes in the net. 

Sophia Costa also caused 2 turnovers. Brooklyn Vucetich, Jade Chalmers, Cece Liguroi, Sperling, Malia Sigg, and Smith each also added a caused turnover.

Smith also snagged 3 ground balls, and Liguori grabbed 2. 

The Redhawks will take a quick break before they are back at it in an away matchup against Waynesburg on March 3.
