Women's Lacrosse Records First Program Win

PITTSBURGH, PA - Tonight the women's lacrosse team had their first ever program win! The Redhawks defeated the Yellow Jackets 22-9. 

Leading the charge for La Roche was Courtney Spiering who completed 10 goals in tonight's contest. 

Following behind her was Jasey Reiser who had six shots meet the back of the net. 

Malia Sigg, and Tea Smith both scored two goals. These two goals were the first career goals for Sigg. She also recorded two assists and one caused turnover. 

Cece Liguori and Jade Fuccaro both scored their first goals of the season. 

Defensively T Thompson captained the ship with three caused turnovers. Reiser and Fuccaro both fought for two caused turnovers, and Sigg, Amyra Harry, Kathy Platt, and Smith. 

Tara Lasher was goalie the entirety of the game and she saved 11 balls for seeing the back of her net. 

The Redhawks hit the road next Saturday to Grove City, first draw at 1:00 PM.
