BETHANY, WV - This evening the women's lacrosse team hit the road to Bethany, PA. The ladies played their hearts out, but their first win was just out of reach.

There were some things to celebrate; Amyra Harry had her first career goal as a Redhawk. Harry also caused a turnover, and scooped up two ground balls.

Following her on the goal train was Jasey Reiser who's been having a fantastic season so far. Not only did she score a goal, she also recorded three shots.

Also scoring tonight was Courtney Spiering, her fourth goal of the season. She also fought for a caused turnover, as well as four other shots on goal.

On the defensive side for the Redhawks, Kathy Platt and Kate McCallister both contributed two caused turnovers.

Tara Lasher stayed in the goal for the total 60 minutes of the game. Lasher stayed tough and was able to block nine balls from seeing the inside of her net.

The Redhawks are back in action this Friday for their second game on their home turf at 4 PM against the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets.
