Head Coach Lisa Evans Goes "Behind the Whistle" in IWLCA Blog

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - La Roche women's lacrosse Head Coach Lisa Evans breaks down managing relationships both on and off the field in her latest blog post with the IWLCA (Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association) "The Most Important Lesson I Learned in My First Role as a Head Coach". In the blog, Evans highlights the importance of establishing and developing authentic, meaningful relationships with players and colleagues. Lisa was at the helm of the Division I Duquesne University Women's Lacrosse program from 2016-2018 and served as an assistant coach from 2009-2016. The women's lacrosse team is scheduled to play six exhibition games for the 2019-20 season as a club team. They will compete in NCAA Division III play beginning in the 2020-21 season. Their first game will be away against Marietta College on Saturday, February 8th at 2:00 p.m.
