ALTOONA, PA - The women's basketball team continued their undefeated streak this evening with a win against the Penn State-Altoona Lions with a 75-40. 

La Roche dominated the paint out scoring the Lions 36-14. Machia Hairston took full advantage of this and led the team offensively with 25 total points. The senior also led the Redhawks in rebounds, with 13. 

The La Roche offense was quick to react this evening and saw clear lanes up the court, earning 10 points from fast breaks. Makayla Abram was able to profit from these openings and netted 13 points in tonight's contest. 

Danajah Sanders led in steals with two, contributing to the overall points the Redhawks earned from turnovers (14). Sanders ended the night with 14 points, 2 steals, and 1 assist. 

The La Roche reserves also showed their strength against the Lions, earning 16 points as a whole. Alexis Robison led the reserve players netting 7 points in total. 

La Roche will be back at home this weekend to face off with Pitt-Bradford. We will also be celebrating the La Roche Hall of Fame induction class of 2023, you won't want to miss it!
