Redhawks win third straight conference matchup

Pittsburgh, PA - In their third straight conference win, La Roche defeated Pitt-Bradford 103-50. In their second highest scoring game of the season, four Redhawks hit double digits. Danajah Sanders was the captain of the ship leading with 27 points and eight rebounds. Sanders also went 6-7 from the freethrow line. 

Also capturing eight rebounds was Makayla Abram who added 23 points of her own to the final score. 

The Redhawk defense forced 16 turnovers and from those turnovers, the team gained 23 points. The defense also grabbed 11 steals during 40 minutes of play, and the team gained 30 points from fast breaks. 

58 points came from inside the paint with Ayanna Mazyck who went to work gaining a double double in tonight's contest. Mazyck netted 16 points and collected 12 rebounds. 

The final double digit club member for the Redhawks is Alexis Robison, who put 14 points in the scorebook. 

La Roche shot over 54 percent in the field, and 31 percent from three point range. 

The Redhawks are back to tango on Monday, in a makeup game against Alfred State, tipoff is at 6:00 PM.
