La Roche's Win-Streak Reaches Double-Digits With Victory at Pitt-Greensburg

GREENSBURG, PA – The Lady Redhawks ran their win-streak to ten games and improved to 7-0 in the conference after defeating Pitt-Greensburg 80-47 in a rematch of the 2015 AMCC Championship Game. The victory is their eleventh straight against AMCC competition dating back to last season.

Sabrina McLin scored a game-high 29 points to pass Michelle Eannace and Darla Cappello and climb into eighth place on the school's all-time scoring list. TiChina Mitchell netted a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Mitchell has scored in double-figures every game this season and currently sits in eighth place in the nation in scoring. McLin is just two spots behind and ranked tenth nationally. Mackenzie O'Donnell had another terrific defensive game finishing with 7 blocks to go along with 16 points and 8 rebounds.

La Roche played a strong all-around game and earned the win on both sides of the floor.  They hit 50% (32 of 64) of their shots including 44% (4 of 9) from distance. They also forced 29 Pitt-Greensburg turnovers on 20 steals, eight coming off steals by Sabrina McLin.

The Lady Redhawks return to the Fitness Center on Saturday when they host Pitt-Bradford in a battle of top ranked AMCC Conference teams. The Panthers only conference loss came at Pitt-Greensburg earlier this season.
