La Roche women's basketball star Casie Cygan was named the AMCC Player of the Week after breaking the school's all-time scoring record and leading the Lady Redhawks to their fourth straight conference title.
The senior scored a career-high 35 points in an 80-67 semifinal win over Pitt-Bradford before registering 16 points and 7 boards in a 91-55 win over Mount Aloysius in the championship game. Cygan finished the season ranked first in the AMCC in points per game (18.3) and fourth in field goal percentage (49.7%).
